Implant durability is not time-limited. After a successful dental implantation, the Clinic helps the patients to maintain the achieved results. New, implant supported teeth will last a long time only in patients who maintain good oral hygiene. Hygienic negligence may lead to bone inflammation and implant rejection. To remove dental plaque each patient should have their implants professionally cleaned at a clinic 2-3 times a year.
Therefore, each patient has specific obligations to comply with. Each patient will be asked to sign a written commitment to maintain appropriate oral hygiene and visit a dental clinic for regular check-up appointments. Dentists will examine the tissue around the implants, check for implant overload or the myofacial pain dysfunction syndrome, etc. Occasionally an X-ray of the implant will be required. If the implant disintegration has occurred due to no patient’s fault, a new implant will be implanted under the warranty. Should the patient be found to have ignored the terms and conditions of the warranty, the warranty will be deemed void.
